Apixio was successfully acquired by Centene Corporation in 2020 which is a 10,000 employee $110B multinational. Imran also co-founded Anka Systems and focused on the execution of EyeRoute’s business development, product definition, engineering, and operations. EyeRoute was the world’s first distributed big data ophthalmology image management system. Anka Systems was sold to a subsidiary of Toshiba. Before Anka Systems, Imran was a co-founder and CTO of FastTide, the world’s first operational performance based meta-content delivery network (CDN) which helped run the Internet 10x faster than usual.
