Jabran Niaz is CEO at Utopia Deals, an e-commerce business in USA, CEO at Utopia Industries, a manufacturer and exporter in Pakistan, the combined revenue of both companies is 750 million USD for Year 2022-23. Prior to launching Utopia Deals, was VP of Application Programming at Bank of America. He completed his Bsc in Computer Science and MS in Databases at National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences in Pakistan.

Utopia Deals founded in 2011, it is top 2 seller at Amazon.com (overall), it sells consumer goods, providing household items majorly in the North America, UK and Europe. Its products are best sellers in 50+ product categories, its products are featured on dozens of publications including NY Times, Forbes, People magazine, Yahoo and Vogue it has sold up to 100 million units so far; almost every household in the US, Canada, UK and Europe has a Utopia Brand product. It owns dozens of patents, trademarks and copyright for its products, it manages warehouses of 800,000 Square feet in USA east coast, west coast, Canada, UK and Spain, it was awarded Shipper of the Year last year by Amazon. Entire team running the business except warehouse workers and CXOs are based in Karachi, Pakistan.

Utopia Industries in Pakistan started operation in 2020, in just 3 years it built total 2.5 million square feet of manufacturing facilities at 6 different locations, it is top 16th exporter of Pakistan, 10,000 people are working in its facilities, it is one of the most diversified manufacturing facility in the world, it is manufacturing Bed Sheets, Pillows, Blankets, Comforters, Quilts, Towels, Knit Garments, Knit Bedding, Mattress Protectors, Plastic Products, Nonstick Cookware, Cast Iron Cookware, Metal Racks, Personal Care Products, poly staple fiber, corrugated boxes, Tape, Zip, elastic and poly bags.

Dr. Babur Lateef
Chairman of UVA Health Systems

Babur B. Lateef, M.D., was elected to serve as Chairman At-Large of the Prince William County School Board in 2018. Prince William County Schools are the 2nd largest school division in Virginia and the 34th largest in the Nation. He oversees an annual budget of 2 billion dollars and 15,000 employees.

He is a member of the Board of Visitors for the University of Virginia and Chairman of the University of Virginia Health System Board. This role entails governance and oversight of all UVA hospitals, medical school, nursing school, and residency programs. He has served as Chairman of the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee as well. Dr. Lateef is a comprehensive ophthalmologist and owner of Advanced Ophthalmology, Inc. in Woodbridge, VA. He is a volunteer physician for both the Greater Prince William County Community Health Center and Prince William Area Free Clinic.  He is regularly recognized as a Top Doctor in the Washingtonian Magazine and the Northern Virginia Magazine.

He is a graduate of Youngstown State University and the Northeast Ohio Medical University (formerly known as Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine).  He completed his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Rochester School of Medicine where he also served as Chief Resident. He completed a fellowship in Cornea and Refractive Surgery at the University of Cincinnati. He currently serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the George Washington University School of Medicine.

He and his wife, Dr. Tarannum Lateef, have two children in Prince William County Public Schools and two children in college. Dr. Lateef is a member of the Board of Directors of SPARK, the education foundation for Prince William County Schools. He is also a PTO member at Marshall Elementary, Benton Middle School, and Charles Colgan High school, Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, and the Governor’s School at Innovation Park.

Dr. Omar Lateef
President & CEO of RUSH

Dr. Omar Lateef has led the RUSH team toward the future of healthcare with a steadfast eye on quality and equity. He has served as president and CEO of RUSH University Medical Center since May 2019, was appointed president of RUSH in 2021 and became CEO in July 2022.

Under Lateef’s leadership, RUSH has set the nation’s standard in health care quality and safety, modeled excellence in clinical leadership both regionally and nationally, and maintained its deep and long-standing commitment to health equity. RUSH leaders, along with others across the nation, educate the world’s top health care professionals. RUSH is laser-focused on serving its patients and communities by addressing the root causes of disease through strong partnerships and innovative research.

Lateef, and other RUSH leaders, spent years working to achieve excellence in patient safety, quality metrics, innovation, next-generation education, and health equity – to make a difference for patients. All three RUSH hospitals repeatedly have received high marks for quality and patient experience from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Vizient, Inc., ranked RUSH University Medical Center No. 3 among 107 academic medical centers for quality and accountability in 2022. The Medical Center has earned a spot on the U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals Honor Roll three consecutive times, and in 2023, Newsweek ranked RUSH University Medical Center No. 18 in the U.S. and No. 54 in the world.

Prior to becoming president and CEO of the Medical Center, Lateef was its chief medical officer. He earned a bachelor’s degree in religious studies from the University of Florida-Gainesville in 1995. He received his medical degree from Des Moines University and completed his internship and residency at New York University Downtown Hospital. He completed a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at RUSH University Medical Center in 2005.

M. Yusuf Mohamed
Former Deputy General Counsel, Tesla

As a former in-house counsel for two major corporations, M. Yusuf Mohamed has extensive experience leading national and global teams, building a legal department within a company, and advising executive management. Mr. Mohamed’s ability to act proactively and understand the entirety of a complex situation is an asset he brings to each client.

Mr. Mohamed is a member of t|e General Counsel and focuses his practice on corporate and business matters with a focus on the technology, services, and manufacturing industries. He leverages his previous in-house experiences to provide personalized solutions to his clients, including start-ups and entrepreneurs, in a way that anticipates their needs and specific legal requirements.

Mr. Mohamed led Tesla’s employment, labor, safety and health, and immigration practices for seven years. When he first started, Mr. Mohamed was the sole employment lawyer at Tesla and was charged with building a legal team needed to support the company’s ever-growing employee population.  During his time there, the company grew from 10,000 to more than 100,000 employees. His goal was to work with the company’s leadership to create systems for repeatable solutions to complex workplace problems. Mr. Mohamed oversaw his team’s budget, and hiring activities, and assisted with acquisitions in Europe, Canada, Asia, and the United States.  During his tenure, he grew the employment team from one person to fourteen lawyers and paralegals, eventually managing a team of twenty-nine people worldwide at its largest point.

Prior to joining Tesla, Mr. Mohamed served as Wayne Farm LLC’s Associate General Counsel. In this role, Mr. Mohamed advised executives on a variety of corporate matters, such as mergers and acquisitions, contract interpretations, risk assessment, environmental, construction, labor and employment law, crisis management, and compliance issues. During his almost nine years with Wayne Farms LLC, Mr. Mohamed managed outside counsel in litigation, partnered with HR managers on issues of performance management, authored the company’s social media policy, and drafted all contracts related to construction projects.

After graduating from the University of Georgia’s School of Law with his JD, Mr. Mohamed served as a trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Labor for seven years. This role has acted as the cornerstone for his future legal experience. While with the Department of Labor, Mr. Mohamed worked on a wide array of matters, including employment discrimination, traditional labor, investigative cases, the Mine Safety and Health Act, the Occupational Safety and Health Act, and workers’ compensation claims. In addition, Mr. Mohamed taught a “Courtroom Procedures” course at the National Mine Health and Safety Academy, tried cases before administrative law judges, and counseled client-agencies on a wide range of matters such as contemplated enforcement actions, compliance with FOIA requests, and settlement negotiations.

Yasir Khalid
Founder & CEO, StrikeReady

Yasir Khalid is the CEO and Founder of StrikeReady, an AI-driven cybersecurity firm that aims to revolutionize proactive and collaborative defense for organizations of all sizes. Before founding StrikeReady in 2019, Khalid led the Zero Day Detection initiative at FireEye, playing a key role in developing the company’s second-generation threat detection products. With 15 years of experience in the cybersecurity industry and 17 patents to his name, Khalid’s expertise is palpable. His latest innovation is CARA, an AI-powered Digital Assistant that drives StrikeReady’s Autonomous Security Operations platform, the world’s first of its kind.

Naureen Rahman
Special Assistant to the Chief of Technology
U.S. Department of Homeland Security

Naureen Rahman was born and raised in Potomac, Maryland, and serves as the Special Assistant to the Chief Technology Officer at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), where she recently celebrated her 15th year of government service.

She attended the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law where she focused her J.D. on International Law. She then moved on to attend the George Washington University for the L.L.M program in Human Rights and International Business Transactions, where she focused on Regional and National Human Rights Tribunals. She completed the Post-Conflict Law program at Oxford University, along with the Advanced Senior Leadership Training program at DHS, the Partner’s program at ACT-IAC, and the Leadership Program at Wharton, University of Pennsylvania.

Ms. Rahman has extensive experience in immigration, international law, national security, multi-modal biometrics, information technology, and human rights. As a federal employee, she has held numerous roles, including:

Ms. Rahman extends her work beyond government service and runs a law firm in Bethesda, Maryland, where she focuses on protecting the community, especially vulnerable persons, in the areas of estate and family planning. She is a key member and advisor for numerous non-profit organizations, which include bringing solar energy to developing countries, access to shelter and clean water, and manages the Rahman Charitable Trust Fund.

Ms. Rahman lived overseas for almost a decade, where she trained judges for the Pan-African tribunal at the Institute for Human Rights and Development in Africa, in the Gambia, West Africa, and worked in refugee camps in a joint DHS, Department of State, and United Nations program. She has worked at the U.S. Department of Justice in the Office of International Affairs, served as the Chief Law Clerk at the D.C. Superior Court, and as Corporate Counsel for U.S. Bioservices.

Ms. Rahman enjoys partaking in key programs locally and served as the first Secretary for the Montgomery County Muslim Council, and is a sponsor at Knock Out Abuse. Her life’s work and desire is to continue helping communities the best way she can by focusing on wide-impacting protection policies. Ms. Rahman recently moved to Miami, Florida, and is married to Naveen Krishnamurthy, has two children, Rania and Rayan, brother, Naveed, and niece, Liyanna Rukhsi Rahman.

Nejat Abdurahman

Nejat Abdurahman is Keynote Speaker, Leadership Coach, and Founder of N-BAC, a business advisory firm that helps organizations that create a positive impact in the society take their impact to a higher level by helping their leaders and managers transform the way they lead for sustained performance.

Nejat facilitates Leadership Development programs at N-BAC Academy to equip managers and leaders with the needed skills to transform the way they lead to transform their businesses and create sustainable impact. Nejat currently serves on the Board of the Association for Talent Development Metro DC Chapter as Director of Programs and serves as an Ambassador and Advisory Board Member at Yoodli, an AI-enabled platform that provides feedback on its user’s communication skills.
